As an avid rider myself I love to photograph equine portraits that show the partnership and trust between horse and rider. I met Libby and Malaki at a Greg Powell workshop a several years ago. Libby suspected that Malaki had an old injury that made it too painful for him to be under saddle. Libby stopped riding Malaki immediately and he enjoys paddock life 24/7.
Instead of horse and rider portraits we photographed relaxed portraits of Malaki & Libby hanging out at home in Yass.
